Virtual hosts restoring

Document Actions

We are confirming the safety of NGO virtual hosts, and bringing them back online one by one after resetting FTP and MySQL passwords.

We will also modify the PHP source codes of each virtual hosts to replace old database pasword with the newly generated one. And that will take some time also. So please be patient.

For those restored sites, we suggest their webmasters check the site thoroughly and call us at 010-51319212 or email us to rwc@ied.org.cn for the new FTP password.

As the result of the remodeling of our virtual hosting system, each virtual host user now has its own system user ID. Their PHP scripts are running as their own user via mod_suphp. Even the user space has been injected with PHP Trojan-Spy for any reason in the future, only that particular user's website and database data will be affected. Other users' site are safe.

But please do update your PHP CMS system used in your site as often as possible to close the door to crackers. If you find any suspicious codes in your web space, don't touch them, backup your entire site and report to us as soon as possible.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome. We are always trying to provide you a more professional system.
